About : Our Funding
Financial support
The World Oral Literature Project has been established with the generous initial support of the Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research. We are also grateful to the Charles E. Chadwyck-Healey Charitable Trust, Dr Laura Appell-Warren and Dr John Warren, the Leverhulme Trust and the Onaway Trust for providing additional resourcing and support.
Support in kind
The Project remains very grateful to individuals and organisations for providing our initiative with in-kind support, in particular Olympus for their generous donation of field recorders for our grantees and partners, and Bluake International, our media partner in China, with whom we are working on an outreach programme in China.
