Klu mo tshe ring: Dpa' sde Village Tibetan Collection

This collection contains two folk songs and one mani song collected in Dpa' sde Village, Rdo sbis Township, Ya rdzi County, Haidong Region, Qinghai Province, PR China by Klu mo tshe ring.

1. Folk Song 1, On Pilgrimage to Tara
The lyrics state, "I am going to visit Mother Tara. I will ask her for a child – I won't ask for money or other things." This song may be sung at any celebratory gatherings.

2. Folk Song 2, A rig ma
This song may be sung at any celebratory gatherings.

3. Ma ni Song, Om mani padme hum
This genre is sung when greeting lamas who visit the village and at funerals. Women typically sing such songs. The lyrics are the six sacred syllables of the mantra Om mani padme hum.
